Classic American Potato Salad

American Potato Salad

Ingredients:

  • 6 Potatoes
  • 4 eggs, hard boiled
  • 1/4 Cup Red Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Yellow Mustard
  • 2 Tablespoons White Vinegar
  • 1/4 Cup Black Olives, sliced
  • 1/4 Cup Radishes
  • 1 Teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 Celery Stalks, sliced
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnishing

Cooking Directions:

  1. Take 6 potatoes, peeled and cut into small cubes.
  2. Add potatoes cubed and in a pan and boil until soft.
  3. When potatoes boiled drain water. Transfer potatoes in a bowl.

For Dressing:

  1. Mix mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, 2 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon pepper.
  2. Mix all ingredients together.
  3. In this mixture add onion, celery, radishes and potatoes.
  4. Take 3 boiled eggs and dice the eggs. Keep one egg for garnishing.
  5. Add eggs into mixture and gently fold.
  6. For garnishing on top of salad  put egg slices and sprinkle paprika.
  7. Keep salad in a refrigerator for an hour.
